*EDIT* I forgot- i didn't color those straps on her dress because i would've been close to suicide if i were to color each block individually... Sorry about that, but I chose to not color them for my health.. >< I shouldn't have penned those stupid lines in.. gahhhh)

yay! Two drawings in two days! woooo!!

I actually just doodled this up last night when I was bored, and ended up really liking it.

And seriously, if you have not read the Red River mange by Chie Shinohara (spelling?) then you are missing out. I wish there was more fanart for it, because it is amazingggg. My favorite manga of pretty much all time, and so far is the only manga i have not lost interest in- i'm still buying them (at number 20.. T_T only 8 more to go!)

But I am planning on doing a lot more fanart for this manga, because it's awesome and needs more fanart!

I know some people get annoyed by the fact that everyone in the series thinks "ew she's skinny" because back then they actually liked "curves" because nowadays that is not the case. Atleast that's what it seems like some people were thinking. And while I think to myself, oh god why could I not have been sent to that time?, I think chubby girls can relate just as much to Yuri as everyone else. Because her body is not the ideal in that time, just like being chubby is for our time. Maybe there could be a reverse red river where a chubby girl from ancient time in the series is sent to the future of our time... Or something lol... Either way, Yuri is an amazing character and a great role model! wo!

Oh, and if you try looking up Red River info online, try using these to search as well: Anatolia Story, Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori, Tenha Akai kawano Hotori - because it is almost impossible to find anything using Red River. Sadly, the last one is only one that is really active (and last post was in December 07... but hopefully someday there will be a Red River site that actually updates in the current year.. if only!)
